Both Rainbow krib and Neon tetra share a comfortable temperature range of 24–25°C (Rainbow krib prefers 24–27°C, Neon tetra prefers 21–25°C). Their pH ranges overlap well at 5–7, so water chemistry is compatible. Both species have low aggression scores (Rainbow krib: 3, Neon tetra: 1 out of 10), which supports peaceful cohabitation.
