Aquatic-Art is an informational aquarium reference site. This policy explains what data we may collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you disagree with this policy, please discontinue use of the site.

Information we process

• Usage and diagnostics. We may use privacy-preserving analytics or hosting logs to understand traffic, performance, and errors. You can use browser controls or extensions to limit trackers.
• My Tank (browser storage). The My Tank planner stores your selections in localStorage on your device only. It is not sent to our servers unless you explicitly use a feature that requires it.
• Search and catalog queries. When you search or filter catalogs, requests may reach our application and database providers as part of normal operation.

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site function, user preferences, analytics, and advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality.

Aquatic-Art may display advertising provided by Google AdSense and other third-party vendors. Data retention

If you sign in, we retain your account email and any tank you save, together with the water, maintenance and livestock logs you record for it. Deleting a tank deletes its logs; to delete your account and everything attached to it, contact us. If you create a share link for a tank, we keep that snapshot for 180 days so the link keeps working, then delete it. Analytics and diagnostic data are retained according to the settings and policies of the providers described above.

Children

Aquatic-Art is not directed at children under 13. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child, contact us using the email in the footer and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
