Can Fire eel Live With Zig-zag eel?

Both Fire eel and Zig-zag eel share a comfortable temperature range of 24–28°C (Fire eel prefers 24–28°C, Zig-zag eel prefers 24–28°C). Their pH ranges overlap well at 6–7, so water chemistry is compatible. Both species have low aggression scores (Fire eel: 1, Zig-zag eel: 3 out of 10), which supports peaceful cohabitation.
