Can Clown loach Live With Almorha loach?

The yoyo's own profile allows this with a condition attached: it does well alongside most other Botia, and alongside clown loaches in very large tanks. That last phrase is the whole assessment. A clown loach reaches 30 cm and a yoyo 16, and both are gregarious botiids that form hierarchies and need to be kept in groups.

The shared range is 24 to 27.5 °C and pH 6 to 7, comfortable for both.

Settle the numbers before the water: five or six of each at minimum and ideally more, while the clown loaches alone are measured for 250 litres and the yoyos want a 120 cm base. In practice this is a long tank with sand, smooth driftwood, many caves and decent flow, or it is not this pairing. Kept short on either numbers or space, the dominant fish stresses the rest until they stop feeding, which is the failure both profiles describe.
