Both Cherry Shrimp and Rainbow krib share a comfortable temperature range of 24–27°C (Cherry Shrimp prefers 18–28°C, Rainbow krib prefers 24–27°C). Their pH ranges overlap well at 6.5–8, so water chemistry is compatible. Both species have low aggression scores (Cherry Shrimp: 1, Rainbow krib: 3 out of 10), which supports peaceful cohabitation. They occupy different water columns (Cherry Shrimp: bottom, Rainbow krib: middle), which reduces direct competition for space.
