Kimberley Pogostemon

Pogostemon sp. 'Kimberley' is an Australian stem plant named for the Kimberley region of Western Australia, and it is a much scarcer trade offering than the familiar Pogostemon species. It carries the fine, pinnately divided leaves typical of the genus, and like most of its relatives it is a warm-water plant with a relatively demanding profile. Flowgrow publishes no page for this form, and its exact placement within the genus is not confirmed, so the name is a working trade label rather than a verified species. It grows as a background stem to around 20 cm, needs bright light to keep its best colour, and rewards stable, warm conditions with compact bushy growth. CO2 enrichment helps it grow steadily. It does best in temperatures of 22 to 28 °C with a pH of 5.5 to 7.
