The description field holds the German placeholder "folgt", there is no range row, and nothing is published about where the plant grows wild or how it behaves in a tank. This entry therefore sticks to the sliders and says where the rest comes from.

What the source publishes: light medium to high, an optimum of 22 to 28 °C inside a tolerance band running from 15 to 30, pH 4 to 7.5, carbonate hardness 0 to 14 dKH, and a carbon dioxide range of 20 to 40 mg/l. Difficulty medium, growth slow, midground use, and the plant can be grown emersed. The listed synonym is Herpestis rugosa Roth, the name Roth published before Merrill moved the species into Limnophila.

Two things are worth reading off that sheet. Flowgrow rates its close relative Limnophila hippuridoides fast; this one is slow, so a bushy specimen is a matter of months rather than weeks, and it will not outrun an algae problem for you. And a pH floor of 4 alongside a hardness floor of 0 puts it comfortably in soft, acid water. The 20 cm height here is our own figure, since the source publishes no height.
