ADA Pro-Scissors Spring are compact scissors for detailed aquatic-plant trimming. Their spring handles close the blades when squeezed. They suit pruning moss attached to driftwood and trimming individual small plants or leaves in a small aquarium, where the cutting point is close enough to reach with a short tool. Both versions are 160 mm long: the straight type is article 106-070 and the curve type is 106-071. Choose the blade orientation for the approach to the plant, and check the specific version when buying. Spring operation and blade shape are separate features. Choose the Spring for detailed cuts and accessible working positions. Compare its reach with the water depth and the layout around the plant. For broad foreground trimming, ADA’s Wave design offers a low cutting angle; for deeper or larger aquariums, the longer Pro-Scissors range provides more reach.
