Description

ADA Aqua Soil-Amazonia Ver.2 is a natural-soil substrate for planted Nature Aquariums. The current manufacturer page identifies black soil and an included Amazonia Supplement. Check the Ver.2 name and pack, including whether the product is the standard or Powder Type. Follow the Ver.2 instructions for placing the supplement beneath the soil and filling gently. ADA says not to rinse the soil before use because this can crumble the granules and cloud the water. Use the selected pack’s instructions for quantity and any other substrate layers. The supplement can cause ammonium and nitrite readings after setup. ADA instructs users to wait until both are no longer detected before adding fish or shrimp. Monitor the actual aquarium; the separate Amazonia PRO description should not supply a pH guarantee or setup schedule for Ver.2.
