Can Panda corydoras Live With Peppered corydoras?
Compatibility assessment for Panda corydoras and Peppered corydoras
Detailed assessment
Two peaceful bottom dwellers with nearly the same needs. Neither is aggressive, and neither competes hard enough to trouble the other.
The shared window is 22 to 25 °C, set by the panda, which comes from cooler streams than most Corydoras, with pH 6 to 7 suiting both. That is an ordinary planted community setting rather than anything special.
Give each species its own group of six, which matters more than it sounds: both grow reclusive and stressed without their own kind, and a mixed half dozen leaves each of them short. Two groups of six want a tank around 80 litres. The substrate requirement is the same for both, fine sand kept clean, since coarse gravel and a dirty bed are what cost Corydoras their barbels. Feed sinking pellets and frozen food that reaches the floor before the fish above them clear it.
