Can Coolie loach Live With Neon tetra?

Both Coolie loach and Neon tetra share a comfortable temperature range of 24–25°C (Coolie loach prefers 24–29°C, Neon tetra prefers 21–25°C). Their pH ranges overlap well at 5.5–6.5, so water chemistry is compatible. Both species have low aggression scores (Coolie loach: 1, Neon tetra: 1 out of 10), which supports peaceful cohabitation. They occupy different water columns (Coolie loach: bottom, Neon tetra: middle), which reduces direct competition for space.
