Can Convict cichlid Live With Firemouth cichlid?

Both profiles point toward this pairing rather than away from it: the convict allows a community of robust Central American cichlids in a big enough tank, and the firemouth allows similarly sized cichlids from the same region with room for separate territories. Stock a tank around the convict's own 81 litre minimum or bigger with plenty of rockwork broken into distinct zones, and add both around the same size rather than an adult convict to a young firemouth.
