Description

The Sicce Syncra Silent 2.0 is an adjustable water pump for freshwater and marine aquarium equipment, including circulation and external water circuits. It can operate submerged or externally with inlet and outlet plumbing. External operation still requires water through the pump: the instructions prohibit running the rotor without water. For the 230-240 V, 50 Hz version covered here, Sicce lists 32 W, a maximum flow of 2150 L/h and a maximum head of 200 cm. Maximum flow and maximum head are separate limits, not a promise of 2150 L/h at a two-metre lift. Select the electrical version for your supply and use the model performance curve when matching the pump to a lift requirement. Flow adjustment and stepped hose connectors are included. The 2.0 has a 5 mm ceramic shaft and thermal protection; neither feature makes dry running an intended use. The rotor remains a maintenance item. For external installation, follow the manual for connecting both inlet and outlet rather than interpreting the wet-and-dry label as permission to operate without water.
