Description
A temperature alarm warns when the measured aquarium water temperature leaves a configured range. Choose the alert method and control functions together: the D&D controller provides audible and visual alarms, while ITC-306A-WIFI adds app notifications. Set alarm limits for the intended aquarium temperature and confirm the probe placement. The D&D unit uses an alarm differential around its set point; ITC-306A-WIFI has high and low alarm settings. Follow the actual device’s instructions rather than using one threshold for every aquarium. For remote alerts, check the required network and app connection; ITC-306A-WIFI requires 2.4GHz WiFi. Also check whether the device switches equipment power or only reports temperature. Its specified alarms and controls do not establish that notifications will remain available during a loss of power or network service.
