Description

Seiryu-style aquarium stones create rugged rock layouts with irregular edges, varied texture and contrasting patterns. Choose actual pieces and arrange their sizes and angles for the tank. The twenty-pound pack has grey and white patterns; the eighteen- and ten-pound packs are separate products. Natural pieces vary in size and shape, and pack weight does not specify every stone’s dimensions. Rinse the stones before use. Choose an arrangement that leaves room for maintenance and account for variation from product photographs. Check water influence as well as appearance. Lime-containing Seiryu can increase GH and KH, particularly with injected CO2. A decorative trade name does not establish that a supplied stone is chemically neutral; verify the selected material and monitor the aquarium’s water hardness.
