Description

Aquarium plant glue fixes moss or plant roots to a chosen surface. Cyanoacrylate gel products offer a thick adhesive that can be placed at a small contact point. Choose a product intended for aquarium use and the material you want to bond. Seachem Flourish Glue is an example for attaching plants to rock, driftwood and gravel. It calls for a small amount at the contact surface and specifically excludes attaching items to glass. Other products can have different restrictions; the gel name alone does not establish compatibility with every surface or heavy structure. Use the directions for the selected brand, hold the parts as instructed and distinguish initial fixture from full cure. RA AquaTech’s page makes those times dependent on moisture and quantity, so its longer full-cure range should not be replaced with another brand’s short holding time. Keep adhesive on the intended contact area and close the tube as directed. Follow the product’s handling precautions: cyanoacrylate can bond skin and eyes rapidly. Pack mass, tube count and gel form are listed for individual products. They do not specify the load capacity of a finished bond or establish that the same adhesive should secure a large rock structure.
