Aquarium chiller

Description

An aquarium chiller removes heat from circulating water to maintain a selected temperature. TECO’s TK500/H uses a titanium heat exchanger and a digital thermostat, with a pump or filter supplying water through the unit. Size the selected chiller for the required water temperature and expected ambient conditions. Manufacturer capacity tables depend on these conditions and the power-supply version; tank volume alone is not a universal cooling rating. Match the water connections and circulation to the installation instructions. The TK500-series manual requires filtered water, freely flowing pipework and water flow before operation. Leave the air intake and warm-air exhaust unobstructed, provide cabinet ventilation where required, and retain access for cleaning the air filter.
