Can Bronze corydoras Live With Panda corydoras?
Compatibility assessment for Bronze corydoras and Panda corydoras
Detailed assessment
Both are peaceful Corydoras that suit the same community. The panda's profile asks only that it is not kept with anything very large or aggressive, and a bronze cory is neither.
Temperature is the number to watch. The panda comes from streams fed at times by Andean meltwater and is kept cooler at 22 to 25 °C, while the bronze takes 22 to 26. Hold the tank at 22 to 25 and both are inside their range, with pH 6 to 7.4 covering both.
Give each species its own group of at least six rather than a mixed handful, since both are far more confident among their own kind. The panda is the smaller at 5 cm against 7.5 cm and the more demanding of the two about hygiene: fine river sand, a clean bed and no undergravel filtration, because corys kept over a dirty substrate lose their barbels. Driftwood, roots and a few dried leaves suit both.
